Công viên bách thảo Jindai (Tokyo) (Vườn thực vật Jindai)

Được xây dựng sau Thế chiến II, là vườn thực vật duy nhất ở Tokyo và các vùng lân cận. Công viên có khoảng 100.000 cây và thực vật với hơn 4.500 giống, được chia làm 30 khu vực bao gồm một khu vườn hoa hồng, vườn hoa đỗ quyên, vườn mận, vườn cỏ ba lá... Tại đây du khách có thể tìm hiểu thông tin cụ thể về những thực vật mình quan tâm và tham quan vào bất cứ thời điểm nào trong năm kể cả mùa đông.

Công viên Yoyogi (Tokyo)

Yoyogi là một trong những công viên lớn nhất ở Tokyo, nằm gần ga Harajuku và Đền Minh Trị Thiên Hoàng (Meiji Jingu Shrine - nơi thờ vị Thiên hoàng thứ 122, người tiến hành cuộc Duy Tân Minh Trị năm 1868), giáp phía Đông Shibuya. Là công viên nổi tiếng với những bãi cỏ rộng, nhiều ao hồ và cả một rừng cây bóng mát. Tuy số lượng cây anh đào có ít hơn so với những công viên khác ở Tokyo nhưng lại là địa điểm thu hút nhiều du khách vào mùa xuân và đặc biệt là rừng cây bạch quả, đổi màu rất rõ rệt vào mùa thu. Vì vậy đây là nơi tuyệt vời cho những hoạt động ngoài trời như dã ngoại, chạy bộ hay các môn thể thao khác. Công viên có một con đường xe đạp (có cả dịch vụ cho thuê xe đạp) và một sân bóng rổ. Ngoài ra còn là một trong những công viên hiếm hoi có khu dành riêng cho các em chó thoải mái chạy nhảy. Khu vực đặc biệt này được chia thành 3 khu nhỏ căn cứ theo trọng lượng của pet và chỉ có chủ nhân của những em pet đó mới được vào.

Trước khi trở thành công viên vào năm 1967 thì đây là nơi diễn ra Olympics Tokyo 1964. Và có thể vào năm 2016, một lần nữa Olympics Tokyo sẽ lại được tổ chức tại đây.

Các hoạt động tiêu biểu

Các nhóm trình diễn cosplay thường tập trung vào chủ nhật hàng tuần (công viên thuộc khu Harajuku mờ). Vào mỗi Thứ 7 và CN, hàng trăm ban nhạc nghiệp dư tập trung dọc theo phía Tây của công viên để luyện tập cũng như trình diễn. Trong khi đó những nghệ sĩ đường phố hay vũ công thì lại tụ tập xung quanh đài phun nước. Những thanh niên theo phong cách retro thì chọn khu vực gần lối vào công viên. Thỉnh thoảng vào tối Thứ 6 hoặc Thứ 7 còn tổ chức những buổi khiêu vũ hay club ngoài trời, có cả DJ nên không khí vô cùng náo nhiệt.

Công viên mở cửa từ 05:00 đến 20:00. Từ giữa Tháng 10 đến Tháng 4 thì đóng cửa lúc 17:00. Không có ngày nghỉ và vào cửa tự do.

Vườn ngự uyển Shinjuku ban đầu thuộc lãnh thổ của lãnh chúa Naito thời Edo, sau trở thành khu vườn dưới sự quản lý của Hoàng Gia Nhật Bản, bây h là một công viên thuộc thẩm quyền của Bộ Môi Trường Quốc Gia. Vườn ngự uyển được hoàn thành vào năm 1906 và bị phá hủy năm 1945. Sau Thế Chiến II, vườn được trùng tu lại và đến năm 1949 thì mở cửa công khai cho tất cả mọi người vào tham quan với tên Vườn Quốc Gia Shinjuku. Tháng 1 năm 2011 đổi lại với tên chính thức là Vườn Ngự Uyển Quốc Gia Shinjuku.


Vườn ngự uyển Shinjuku rộng 58,3 ha với kiến trúc đa phong cách, kiểu Pháp, kiểu Anh và kiểu truyền thống Nhật Bản, ngoài ra còn có một khu nhỏ theo phong cách Đài Loan. Vườn có khoảng 20.000 cây với nhiều chủng loại. Năm 1950, người ta cho xây dựng một nhà kính để trưng bày hơn 1.700 loại thực vật nhiệt đới và cận nhiệt đới. Mùa xuân là thời điểm tuyệt vời nhất để tham quan khi có 1.500 cây anh đào cũng nở rộ.


Bạn có thể vào tham quan từ 3 cổng là cổng Shinjuku, cổng Okido và cổng Sendagaya . Vườn ngự uyển Shinjuku mở cửa từ 9:00 đến 16:30, nghỉ vào Thứ 2 hàng tuần (nếu Thứ 2 nhằm ngày lễ thì sẽ nghỉ bù vào Thứ 3), nghỉ ngày 29 Tháng 12 và mùng 3 Tháng 1. Tuy nhiên vào mùa hoa anh đào từ cuối Tháng 3 đến cuối Tháng 4 hay mùa hoa cúc vào đầu Tháng 11 thì vườn mở cửa cả 7 ngày trong tuần. Nhà kính thường mở cửa từ 11:00 cho đến 16:00.

Công viên Ueno (Tokyo)

Công viên Ueno là công viên công cộng đầu tiên của Tokyo được mở cửa vào năm 1873, có tên gọi chính thức là Ueno Onshi Koen. Công viên nằm gần nhà ga Ueno thuộc trung tâm Tokyo. Diện tích tổng cộng là 540.000 ㎡, trong đó có nhiều công trình công cộng như đền thờ, sở thú, bảo tàng… đây là nơi tập trung nhiều nền văn hóa và nghệ thuật nên nhanh chóng trở thành địa điểm du lịch và giải trí ưa thích của cả người Nhật và người nước ngoài.

Công viên có khoảng 1.200 cây anh đào được trồng dọc lối đi, là một trong những địa điểm thu hút nhiều khách du lịch trong và ngoài nước, còn là nơi các sự kiện theo mùa thường được tổ chức.

Trong công viên có nhiều tượng đài, tiêu biểu là tượng của Saigo Takamori cao 4m được coi là biểu tượng của công viên hay tượng của Hideyo Noguchi – người có chân dung được in trên tờ 1000 yen từ năm 2004.

Tượng đài Saigo Takamori (1828–1877) ở công viên Ueno (Saigo Takamori là một trong những samurai giàu ảnh hưởng nhất trong lịch sử Nhật Bản, sống vào cuối thời Edo, đầu thời Meiji. Ông được người đời tôn vinh là samurai chân chính cuối cùng)

Sở thú Ueno là sở thú lâu đời nhất ở Nhật và là một trong những sở thú lớn nhất Thế Giới với nhiều động vật quý hiếm như gấu trúc, gấu bắc cực… Tháng 4 năm 2008, con gấu trúc cuối cùng ở sở thú đã chết và đến tháng 2 năm 2011, chính phủ đã mang về hai con gấu trúc mới từ Trung Quốc.

Sở thú mở cửa từ 9:30 ~ 17:00, đóng cửa vào Thứ 2.
